State of Mind
Despising the undecided desires of my mind's confines,
Feverishly facing that fearsome fog of folly,
I lie here, longing for a life of leading lit lines,
Swearing to someday satisfy the starving soul in me.MiKe
Miserable Happy Person
Why do you smile so softly,
Why do you appear so happy and wise,
When I can see bits of bad misery,
Dancing in the depths of your eyes.MiKe
A Lucid Dream
I dreamed a dream so dark, but so full of light,
Because my mind was gradually giving me sight,
To the fact that I was not facing reality's might,
But another world I could nestle in for the night.
I readily realized I was a free soul,
Able to fly over this anarchic land of liberty,
Which I had built to defy the real hole,
That traps me during the day, showering its futility.MiKe
I am the Fool
The fool is me, so full of foolish ferocity,
Infinitely incarcerated in ignorance,
Naggingly nested in nurtured naivety,
Easily relaxed into reassurance.
Yet to be like me you secretly yearn,
For only I can experience true bliss,
Since I know not and shall never learn,
Of the tragedies of misery's kiss.

I am the Fire
I will start as harmless and humble heat,
And mature to make you shriek and cry,
As I feast on your life from face to feet,
And let you live lastingly long until you die.
I may grow to sweep all life forms on my way,
And leave behind me scenes of death and decay.
But I know I shall die one daunting day,
Because you and nature shall kill me anyway.

A Universe Poem
So extraordinarily expanding eternally,
So very vast with vivid variety,
So magnificent and mind-meditating,
Yet so dark and defiantly daunting.
Who am I ? A simple worthless Creature,
Standing here observing this Unexplainable World,
Which brought me to Life and let me mature,
But which will, ultimately, carry me to the Underworld.

An Evening's Poem
I have yet to figure out the point of that evening,
An evening where dull folks full of flagrant Hypocrisy,
Pretend to familiarise and find life interesting,
While my mind lies in awareness of the irony of humanity.
But then I noticed you over there in complete neglect,
My eyes met yours and we knew what the Phony knows,
But never admits for fear of disapproval and disrespect,
From those who destroyed Directness by shoving her to sheer shameful shadows.MiKe
An Earphones Poem
They seem so innocent and insignificant as you can see,
But budge near them and slowly do what you wish deeply.
Cover your ears with them, cut yourself from reality's ennui,
And escape to the wonderfulness of surrounding melody.MiKe
